Hello, readers!

Janice here, break-up coach, feminist, and writer. I have been away from this blog for several months (intentionally) and am now coming back to what I am assuming will be regular posts on the ups and downs and ins and outs of break-ups.

But first, I thought it would fun to talk about why I’ve been away. I want to know my readers and I want them to know me, and therefore I’d like to provide an inside look at my 2020 pandemic adventure.

Just as I was finishing my last blog post I was also becoming emersed in the Beautiful You Life Coaching course. As I had been told, it was a lot of work. It took a lot of my time each week. It took a lot of my heart and in the first couple of weeks, I could tell that I wanted to dedicate as much of myself to it as I could. I didn’t want to get down on myself for not posting regularly to my blog and I didn’t want to have my loyalties to my blog and my one-shot at the coaching program divided. So I intentionally decided that I would wait until graduation to focus on my blog and even to attracting new clients through my website.

Beautiful You has been something I’ve wanted to do for several years. But instead of creating space for the experience I got into a fairly self-destructive pattern of chaos and putting out fires. Of financial scarcity and stress. Moving from place to place and going from one crisis to the next. Not exactly the place from which to enter and thrive in an intensive coaching program!

I am thankful that my hard work over the past year paid off and allowed me the money, space, and clarity to finally make a commitment to the course. And I am thankful that things did not line up in the past, as I needed the community and structure that the course offered me during the pandemic.

I have been on a starting over journey the past year and a half, and one of the things I’ve struggled with is a sense of feeling unconnected to other strong women, professionals, and to the wellness industry. I am now a member of a vibrant community of female coaches all around the globe who want to see me succeed, who are high-vibing, who share my values, and who want to support others. This energy is helping me to think of new ways to show up fully for you, the person reading this, and to women who may benefit from support to heal from a broken heart.

My renewed commitment to my work as a breakup coach:

I am here to support women who are hurting from a past relationship.

I am here to support women who are feeling heartbroken.

I am here to support women who feel that the pain, disappointment, or devastation they feel because of a breakup will never end.

I am here to support single women who can’t seem to figure out how to enjoy life without a partner.

I am here to support women who want to process a relationship and put it behind them.

I am here to support women who want to POWERFULLY start the next chapter of their lives.

AND – I am evolving even as I write this. At this moment I am developing a new program for the newly-single lady while also planting seeds for a group coaching program that is all about thriving being single and living solo. I am undergoing more training, working with a FIERCE mastermind group, devouring books, and learning each day.

As also happens in the months following a break-up, I am changing and enjoying the process. I am having faith that things are going to come together in the way they are meant to.

If you are struggling with a broken heart I welcome you to reach out to me. I am happy to offer a heart-healing consult for us to talk about working together and kicking this break-up in the butt.

I am here.
